Password Manager Overview

In general, all the passwords, encryption keys, or any secrets are stored in a secure Password Manager located in the management service in encrypted (AES algorithm) form. Nowhere in GitProtect will your secrets be used in plain text form. If you will update your secrets in the secure Password Manager, these will be updated in every place, where GitProtect used it - thanks to it you are able to easily replace all the passwords, e.g. to the storages. Related to the security point, your devices have no continuous access to the secrets (e.g. storage login and password) - it gets it when required - for example at the backup or restore task beginning. After it, the secrets are removed and your device has no continuous connectivity with storage.
